Take a tour of the community orchard and learn about key factors in choosing fruit trees for your own garden or community space. Dan will guide you through how to choose the right tree for your space and tastes, and where and how to buy. Suitable for complete beginners and those with some experience. Dan has a specialist interest in fruit trees and is currently involved in research on community orchards the techniques for fruit tree care with the Royal Horticultural Society's MHort Programme.
To find the Peverells Community Orchard: The Orchard is adjacent to Raymond Close in Seaford. BN25 3DW, next to The Cabin.
By car: via Raymond Close (Off Barn Rise). The Garden is behind the playpark at the top, left-hand corner. You can also access the Garden from Lexden Drive via the alleyway.
By bus: the Garden is a 10 minute walk from the 12A bus route and a 2 minute walk from the 119 bus route.
