Welcome to the Choral Concert with UNA Tunbridge Wells & Wealden! Join us at King Charles the Martyr on October 25, 2025 at 7:00 PM (Europe/London Time) for a night filled with beautiful harmonies and melodies. Get ready to be mesmerized by the talented voices of our performers as they take you on a musical journey.
The event will be opened by The Worshipful Mayor of Tunbridge Wells. Opening speech by Jane Kinninmont, CEO of UNA-UK. There will be three choirs, Royal Tunbridge Wells Orpheus Male Voice Choir, CREATE, and singers from King Charles the Martyr, joined by members of RTW Choral Society. They will be conducted by Musical Directors Kent Lee, John Cornford and Rupert Preston Bell respectively.
The songs will include
Be Still My Soul (Finlandia); The Rhythm of Life (Sweet Charity); Hallejua (Leonard Cohen) What a Wonderful World; The Rose (Ola Gjeilo) ; Nella Fantasia (Enrico Morricone).
Each choir will be followed by a short reading from well known personalities of the United Nations.
Then the choirs will join together for the grand finale which will be the chorus from "Ode to Joy" (Beethoven).
After the concert there will be a reception at the Church Hall at 3 Warwick Park, Tunbridge Wells TN2 5TA.
