Chorley Grand Prix 2017 Sprint the Finish
Sat 15 April 2017, 11:00 – 12:30 BST
This is a fantastic opportunity for young people aged between 7 and 11 to join in the excitement and be part of the Chorley Grand Prix on Saturday 15 April 2017. A select number of places are available to give local children the opportunity to ride the final part of the Chorley Grand Prix course and cross the official finishing line. Categories are split into school year groups.
All participants must be competent in cycling at least 300 metres, provide your own bikes in full working order and must wear helmets. Please note that bike checks will be carried out on the day by trained leaders and if deemed unsafe you will not be able to participate.
Please ensure you arrive at least 30 minutes before your start time depending on the age group you are riding in. On the day please report to the Chorley Council Get Up and Go area in the Chorley Council Cycle Village on Park Road, Chorley.
Ensure you give yourself plenty of time to arrive and park as the town centre will be busy on the day.
Please note that these rides are subject to the operation of the main elite race and as a result rides could be delayed or cancelled on the day. On the day, you are ultimately responsible for the child or children you are signing up to participate in this challenge.
If for any reason you are unable to attend, please could you cancel your ticket order as soon as possible to give others the chance to participate.
