Chotto Desh: Performance and Workshop (5-11yrs)

Akram Khan Company’s Chotto Desh, meaning “small homeland”, is a compelling tale of a boy’s dreams and memories from Britain to Bangladesh. Blending Kathak and contemporary dance, Chotto Desh is an enchanting and poignant dance-theatre experience for children aged 5 to 11 years and their families to enjoy together.

This is a 20-minute excerpt from the full-length piece performed without lighting or a set.

A 40-minute workshop will follow for big people and their little people to dance together.
