Description
'Enough for Everyone' - a Christmas Carol service, with readings and carols, choirs - from St John's Church Waterloo and the Oasis Academy South Bank choir - plus special guest speaker, The Revd Lucy Winkett, Rector of St James’s Church, Piccadilly. A time to reflect on the festive period ahead and the transformative work of Christian Aid.
This is a FREE event; all we ask is that you register for a ticket for you and your friends so that we know how many people are coming. Click on the 'Register' button on the top right of this screen and then follow the instructions.
Doors will open at 6.30pm and members of the congregation are requested to be seated by 6.50pm.
There will be refreshments and a time to chat after the service.
All donations on the night will go to Christian Aid's Christmas Appeal. For every pound you give, the UK Government will give a pound more.* That's double the support for people living in poverty.

Tell me more about The Revd Lucy Winkett!
Lucy broadcasts regularly on religion, gender and contemporary culture and is a long-standing contributor to Radio 4’s Thought for the Day. She was a founding advisor for the public theology think tank “Theos” and the co-founder of “Leading Women”, a national development programme for women clergy. Tell me more about Oasis Academy South Bank choir!
Oasis Academy South Bank choir enjoy singing together and are well versed in turning their hand to performing in a whole variety of settings – from singing in Parliament and live on ITV’s Good Morning Britain, to carol services, afternoon teas and even outside on our community farm. They take part in regular community choir and fundraising concerts, and enjoy singing a mixture of music of different styles.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is no parking at the venue but the church is very close to Waterloo mainline and tube stations. There are also good bus links and cycle parking near by. Scroll down for a location map and click on the icons for transport options and directions.
