Event description
Christian Aid's Liverpool Conference - the almighty power of people!

About this Event

Christian Aid exists to create a world where everyone can live a full life, free from poverty. We are a global movement of people, churches and local organisations who passionately champion dignity, equality and justice worldwide. We are the changemakers, the peacemakers, the mighty of heart. We believe in the almighty power of people!

At a time when our climate is changing and vulnerable countries are increasingly suffering the effects of the climate crisis, we all need to take up the prophetic call and become those who will protect the earth and it's people.

So for a day in March we will be gathering together to learn how to build this movement and embed a heart for social justice in our communities.

On the day we will discover how best to support this work through:

  • presentations from Christian Aid supporters and grass roots activists
  • workshops
  • campaigning
  • talks from our global partners

A volunteer who attended our Hope & Justice conference in Coventry last year said, “what’s been great is having the opportunity to meet so many people, to hear first hand experiences of people who are working with some of the worlds most impoverished people.” And now we're bringing that opportunity to you!

Please book your ticket now to join us on this special day and discover the almighty power of people!

10am-4pm at Liverpool Quaker Meeting House, 22 School Lane, Liverpool, L1 3BT

There is very limited parking on site so please, if you are able, travel by public transport, the venue is very close to multiple train and bus connections!
