Walk through the Minster and get that real Christmas experience! Hear the ancient Christmas story of the birth of Jesus, told by living history characters. Hear the Christmas musical favourites, as played by the Elland Silver Youth Band. Enjoy a donkey ride and make a Christingle as you walk around the different 'stations' in the Minster. The Minster shop will be open for those last-minute purchases. This event is ticketed by donation to the Children's Society. Tickets £3, accompanied children - free. Tickets are timed to avoid overcrowding with 90 tickets per 15 minutes start time between 1.30 amd 4.15pm. but you are welcome to spend as long as you wish going around the Minster. We will operate a 'reserve queue' if all the tickets sell out, but entry will only be allowed if space permits and cannot be guaranteed. Tickets for the reserve list will be sold on the door and only if there is sufficient space available in the Minster and entry from the reserve list doesn't compromise the safety of other guests and volunteers. Thanks for your understanding! Tickets sold are a donation to the Children's Society and so there are no refunds available.
