About this Event
Where Christmas begins and family traditions are born ...
We're back!! Christmas can officially begin and what a year it has been. Are you ready for a little light relief and something to really look forward to? Things will be a little different this year but we have a fabulous new spacious location on the farm and can't wait to open our doors and welcome you in.
OPENING: We open on Saturday 14th November with the NEW EXTENDED opening times of 9am - 6pm daily with late night shopping every Thursday evening until 8pm. We finally close our doors for the season at 2.30pm on Christmas Eve.
WEEKEND TICKETS: **Pre-booked entry only**
Our main priority is making sure visitors and staff feel completely safe when they visit the farm. This year to control numbers, reduce queuing and allow for effective social distancing, ALL WEEKEND VISITORS must book a FREE car pass online before they arrive. Car passes are purposely timed at 15 minute intervals to control the flow and number of people in and out of the farm. Please book one ticket per car (not one ticket per person) and please adhere to the arrival time you have booked. If you
If you cannot attend after you have booked, please let us know so we can cancel your time slot and free it up for another family.
PLEASE NOTE: Masks must be worn in all inside spaces on the farm, including the Tipi Christmas Shop and Café, toilets and when 2m social distancing is not an option. Alternatively, please consider wearing a mask at all times, if possible, for the safety of other visitors.
**You will NOT need a ticket to visit us during the week**
RELOCATION: We are still at the farm this year but all our festivities will be based in the spacious main car park and plantation. Our homegrown trees are looking amazing and we have been super busy getting them ready for you.
CHRISTMAS TREES: As ever we have thousands of beautiful trees to choose from, whether it's one from the 1,000’s in the ground or one from our large selection of freshly cut trees on display. There are also a number of ways in which to buy one:
1. Choose a tree and take it away with you on the day.
2. Tag a tree in our plantation and either have it delivered or collected at a later date, whichever suits you. This year to minimise queues, we are asking everyone to pay in full for their tree at the time of tagging. If you wish to collect your tagged tree, please collect on a week day if possible and give us 24hrs notice if you wish to have it cut down and ready for you on arrival, otherwise it will be cut down whilst you wait.
3. Outdoor express checkout : So you can choose a tree, pay and go, we have an additional dedicated till point next to the plantation.
4. Over the phone: If you would rather have a beautiful, hand-picked tree delivered straight to your door, why not give us a ring, our friendly and knowledgeable staff are just a phone call away! You can also order your trees lights, water-holding stands and award winning door wreaths at the same time all from the comfort of your own home. Please bear in mind that the Elves are very busy at this time of the year and if we cannot answer your call straight away, you may have to leave a message. Rest assured we will get back to you as soon as we can!
5. Email our Elves: If you'd prefer to email your order to us that's fine too. We will need your name, address and telephone number plus the size (in feet) and type of tree you would like, take a look at our website for information on the trees and stands we sell. Don't forget you can also order one of our beautiful award winning wreaths for your door.
ELLA'S 'TAKEAWAY' TIPI CAFE: Our ever-popular Tipi Café will be open but in line with current Government guidelines we will only be serving takeaway homemade cakes, biscuits and amazing luxury hot chocolates.
NEW COFFEE HUT: We also have a brand-new takeaway coffee hut serving more hot drinks, cakes and those yummy luxury hot chocolates to reduce visitor waiting times.
CHRISTMAS SHOP: We have a brand-new spacious Tipi that has been transformed into our sparkly Christmas Shop this year. Entry will be strictly controlled to allow for social distancing so please be prepared to queue for a short while if it is busy. Please keep your distance using the one way system in place, hand sanitise on entry, wear a mask at all times and encourage children not to touch the decorations.
SANTA CHARITY GROTTO: Our socially distanced charity Santa will be based in our spacious tipi grotto from the 14th -18th December, 4pm-6pm and19th - 22nd December, 10am-4pm. Tickets will cost £5 per child (payable on the day) with tickets available on Eventbrite in advance.
Due to the current Covid-19 lockdown, the ticket link has been delayed until early December when further details will be posted on our Facebook page and website.
SOCIAL DISTANCING: After a difficult year please be kind and remember to follow the current Government Guidelines and 'Hands, Face, Space.' Please ensure you only visit the farm with people you live with or who are in your support bubble and do not mix with family or friends who you do not live with when you arrive. Face masks MUST be warn in all inside spaces and wherever only one metre distancing is possible.
AND FINALLY: Please be patient and bear with us whilst we adjust to the changes made around Covid-19, things will be very different this year and it's a new way of doing things for all of us.
