Below stairs Louisa, the cook, is busy doing the final preparations for her Twelfth Night Cake. On the first floor the drawing room is filled with music and laughter as Mr and Mrs Journeaux practise their dance steps for a Twelfth Night Ball. And up in the nursery the children are hanging their stockings by the fire and happily making pomanders with their grandmother.
