During this hands-on session, you will learn some of the history of letterpress, and get inky using a selection of Tom’s vintage letterpress wood type and antique illustration blocks. By the end of the workshop you will have created a selection of your very own custom Letterpress Christmas cards to send to your loved ones or just keep them for yourself!

Tom Boulton, aka TYPETOM.COM, trained as a typographic designer and is now a self-taught letterpress artist, designer and printer. With over 13 years’ experience Tom has been commissioned by the likes of Tate Modern, Fortnum and Mason, Southbank Centre and The Design Museum. He has been included in the London Design Festival twice and has been featured in publications such as Creative Review, The Telegraph and Country Living and is a D&AD award-winning designer and printer.
