Christmas Carols at the Hub!
Join us at the Social Prescribing Community Hub for festive cheer with the West Bridgford Social Singers. Enjoy Christmas favourites, sing along and celebrate the season with your community.
West Bridgford Social Singers are a community choir, who sing a wide range of songs including tunes from the shows, traditional ballads, contemporary material and Gospel melodies.
The choir has around 80 members and is very active in supporting community groups and events. It regularly sings at Memory Cafes, Hospices, Churches and local community events, as well as organising concerts in West Bridgford and beyond. This last year they went to Norway to sing with several Norwegian choirs. All their performances raise money for charity – in 2025 they supported MND Notts and Hayward House – and they also organise an annual charity marathon involving runners, walkers, cyclists and indoor rowers! Last year, this raised over £9,000!
Basically, they love to sing for their own pleasure but more importantly to give pleasure and support to others. For more information, please visit: Social Singers
