Christmas Decorations Workshop

Creativity workshops will take place at tables in the main hall every hour from 11am to 3pm. All materials will be provided to make the decorations and there will be some helpers on hand to assist. This workshop is open to all, however this activity takes patience and some skill so it is recommended for children 7+. There will be simpler free crafts for accompanying younger children.

Due to health and safety, each session will last 45 minutes as a cleaning regime will happen before each session. You should be able to make two hearts within this time. But for those who want to make more at home, additional Christmas Heart packs will be available to purchase, with all proceeds going to the Norwegian Church Cardiff Bay (Charity no 1195926).

From 11am the Church café will be offering Norwegian specialities including freshly-made Norwegian waffles, Lapskaus (Norwegian beef stew) and gløgg (Nordic mulled wine) as well as tea, coffee and hot chocolate.

Workshop Tickets are £5 per person and includes all materials.

There are limited tickets, and MUST be booked in advance on Eventbrite only. Please bring your tickets to the event, either on your phone or print.

As the skies darken around 4pm, you are welcome to come and join us outside to watch the traditional Norwegian lantern procession, sing carols and countdown to the lighting of the Christmas Tree donated by Vestland Council, Norway. We also expect a visit from Father Christmas!
