Christmas Eve Vigil Mass
Event Information
About this Event
This Mass will take place with a smaller congregation and availability will be limited.
Ticket Information:
Things are a little different for us all this year, and listed below are just a few things that you will need to know about your tickets and general arrangements.
Each person attending the Service will need to book a ticket in advance, including children. This is so we can keep a careful note of people wanting to attend whilst adhering to the Government's social distancing guidelines.
Please only apply for tickets for members of your own household or bubble. The maximum number of tickets you can apply for in one transaction is 6.
Please let us know in advance if you, or a member of your group or bubble, has any accessibility issues so we can look after you during the Service.
If for any reason you are not able to attend the Service please cancel your ticket as soon as possible as we expect there to be a high demand and we would like as many as possible to have the opportunity to join us.
If you are feeling unwell, in a high risk category, are self isolating, or if you or anyone you have been in contact with has symptoms of coronavirus please stay at home.
What happens when you arrive?
The Cathedral will be open an hour before the start of the Service, and seating will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. On arrival you will be directed to a seat with members of your group or bubble by a member of the Cathedral team. We are unable to reserve specific seats in advance.
We will also ask you to wear a face-covering at all times (unless you are medically exempt). Please make sure you bring one with you.
Our toilet facilities, Cathedral Gift Shop and the Piazza Cafe will remain closed.
Car Parking
The Cathedral Car Park will be open for all our Christmas services on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be a nominal charge of £3 to park and you can pay on arrival. Our ticket machine accepts coins only so please bring change with you.
What happens when you leave?
Please follow the directions of Cathedral staff who will direct you block by block to the exit. You will leave by a different door to the one you came in.
How can you support us?
We are deeply grateful for all the support we receive from our congregation, our community and our visitors. Now, more than ever we need your support. Much of our vital income has been lost over recent months so your donation, no matter how small, will make a significant contribution both to the continued running of the Cathedral, and the thriving community that we support.
You can book your ticket with an optional £5 donation, or you can donate £5 in advance by texting METROCATHEDRAL to 70460.

Thankyou for your generosity.
Finally....
We look forward to welcoming you to the Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King, Liverpool.
Thank you for your co-operation.
