About this event

Join us to celebrate Christmas with a jam-packed programme of festive activities.

Art and craft – 10-12

Decorate a shooting star to remember the story of Jesus birth and the star which led the 3 kings to the stable in Bethlehem where he was born.

Story Detective – 10-12

Find clues to ‘follow the star’ around the church and piece a seasonal story together on your very own story board.

Sing-a-long with the Choir – 12-12.30pm

Join the world-famous Westminster Abbey choir to sing a few festive carols.

Storytelling – 12.30 - 1pm

Snuggle up as a family and listen to some warming winter tales. Activities are suitable for children aged 3+. All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout their time at the Abbey.

This event is for families with children, for safeguarding reasons lone adults will not be able to attend.

Toilets are available in the Cloisters, we suggest you visit them before coming into St Margaret’s.

Family activities will finish at 1pm. If you would like to visit Westminster Abbey itself you will need to buy a ticket, we recommend entering the Abbey between 9am-10am or at 1pm to make the most of both aspects of your visit. There will be a Christmas tour of the Abbey at 10am and 1pm to extend your Christmas visit.
