This mindful movement routine will aid digestion by releasing stagnant energy and activating the parasympathetic nervous system.
Digestion is your body's way of taking in nourishment. It transforms the Qi from food into Qi your body can use… the kinds of Qi necessary for energy, health, and vitality.
The Earth Element is associated with the spleen, stomach, and pancreas. It rules the digestion and assimilation of food.
Nurture your own digestive system so your body can effectively transform Food Qi into usable energy for your entire body.
Through powerful, nurturing Yoga and Qigong, Alison will help you free up your physical joints and muscles, clear tiredness and stress, and enhance the free-flow of energy throughout your body.
Learn how to calm your mind, ease your emotions and bring about a revival in your energy.
The afternoon will begin with Qigong warmups and activations followed by Dru Yoga stretches and Qigong Flowing movements. After a tea break, Alison will lead you through Restorative Yoga postures and a long, Guided Relaxation.

Alison Hughes has enjoyed teaching Dru Yoga since 2008 and Qigong since 2017. She is passionate about health and well-being and continues to increase her knowledge. At present she is completing her 200 hour Qigong Teacher Certificate with Lee Holden. Her classes, based on Dru Yoga and Energy Work for self healing, are suitable for all fitness levels.
