Christmas in a Box - Free Online Training

About this event

Christmas in a Box is a resource developed by Bristol Schools Connection. It is aimed at primary school children and designed to be flexible to changing social distancing measures. It's been created as a tool for churches to connect with their local school/s. However, whether you are a church volunteer or a teacher, Christmas in a Box will provide a fun and educational opportunity for spiritual development.

Children literally unpack the Christmas Story from boxes which relate to the different characters in the nativity. There was amazing feedback from last year's 'pilot' year from teachers, volunteers and children.

This training session will introduce you to the resource and give opportunity to talk it through and ask questions. Whether you're a church who usually connects/would like to connect with your local school at Christmas, or a teacher looking for a new way to tell the story, Christmas in a Box is a great way to share the Christmas story in a lively and innovative way. We'd love you to join us!

Organiser Bristol Schools Connection

Organiser of Christmas in a Box - Free Online Training

We coach, train and equip churches in the Bristol region to serve their local schools and to work with them to create imaginative spaces for spiritual development. We work with individuals, church teams and leaders to build a connection with the local school which brings the two communities together and enables both to thrive.

We develop a range of resources which churches can use in primary and secondary schools which are high quality and meet the curriculum and other needs of the school. We host story-telling and training events and are the regional champions for Prayer Spaces in Schools.

We'd love to see every school in the Bristol region in a supportive and meaningful relationship with a local church.
