This is our third Christmas themed Jewellery class this year! Its little Angel Pendants.
Not too dissimilar to crystal wrapping, however, we will be making our beautiful pendants into Angels with a heart shaped crystal as the centre piece.
The techniques covered in this course form a great foundation for developing more advanced wire jewellery skills but also equip you with everything you need to make your own beautiful pendants from home.
A fun and versatile class not to be missed!
Learn the age-old technique of wire wrapping, a great way of showing off shaped stones. No soldering or gluing is involved and you will learn to twist and interlock wire to create stunning statement pieces.
Techniques covered in this class include:
- Learn about pliers, wire and basic tools used
- Making a jump ring to hang the pendant from
- How to professionally cut, shape and loop wire
- How to wrap wires securely together without ends that catch
- Create a wire wrapped stone pendent
- How to form and construct an angel shape around your stone
You will create aa Angel pendant to take home.
No previous experience is necessary however, this requires small and intricate work. The pendant measures approximately 3.5cm
Face-to-face workshops are great fun and informative. Being face-to-face, unlike video tutorials, means you can ask questions, get help when you are stuck, meet other likeminded people and enjoy the group workshop setting. I will be there to support you every step of the way and you will be able to see the process at different angles so you will be able to create your beautiful pendant with ease.
