Is there an age restriction?

Yes, this workshop is for 4+ year olds.

Does my child need any experience?

Not at all, your child will be shown how to work with the materials but they can make something simpler or something more complex depending on their interest, ability and creativity

Do I need to stay with my child?

Yes, you'll need to support your child with making their nutcracker. If they are older and able to work independently, there will be a market stall within the same space, and you are welcome to have a browse. There is also a small play space if you have a younger child too

What if my child doesn’t finish their nutcracker?

If your child doesn't finish or wants to add more details, we will provide them with the bits and pieces they need to do that at home

Come join us for a fun Christmas Nutcracker Making Workshop where you can get creative and make your own unique decoration (4 years+)

Join us for a festive Christmas Nutcracker Making Workshop in our magical Christmas play space at The Factory, Dalston! Children and adults can get into the holiday spirit by creating their very own nutcracker using cardboard, coloured paper and other craft supplies.

From quite simple designs to complex creations, your imagination can run free in decorating your nutcracker. You will create your own masterpiece toi take home to become part of your Christmas decorations.

As this can be tailored to be age appropriate; this hands-on workshop is a fun activity for children of 4+ years old and adults likewise to get into the holiday spirit!. For kids it's perfect for developing fine motor skills, encouraging creativity and building patience.

All children must be accompanied by an adult, with a minimum of 1 adult to 2 children in the same booking. Adults not taking part in the wprkshop but only accompanying children do not have to buy a ticket

1 hour workshop. All materials provided, and you can take home anything you make during the session.

The workshop will take place within a room where there will be a small play space and a market stall where you will be able to buy a range of handcrafted decorations, Christmas gifts and craft kits.
