About this event

Holiday • Christmas

On Saturday 29th November, the Greenfingers Charity Christmas Pudding Fun Run will take place in Wendover, starting and finishing at the Bel & The Dragon (Red Lion). We would be absolutely delighted to have you involved.

This brand-new event is more than just a sponsored fun run. It’s a chance to support Greenfingers Charity, a Buckinghamshire-based national organisation dedicated to creating magical gardens for life-limited children in hospices across the UK. These inspiring outdoor spaces offer children and their families a place to play, learn, grow, care, remember and connect with nature - bringing comfort, joy, and precious memories during the most challenging times.

Those wishing to take part can choose between two route options, 2km or 5km which we hope will make it accessible for all ages and abilities. We’re inviting everyone to embrace the festive spirit by dressing up in seasonal attire, from Santa hats to full Christmas Pudding costumes. Whether walking or running, it’s all about coming together to make a difference.

To make the day even more magical, the event coincides with the Wendover Christmas lights switch-on, creating a truly festive atmosphere for the whole community.

Together, we can put the FUN into FUNdraising and make this Christmas truly unforgettable for those who need it most.

There is limited free parking at the Bel & The Dragon and you must enter your car registration upon arrival. The Witchell Cricket Club also has free parking. The Library has parking, but this may require payment, along with spaces around the High Street.

Can children take part?

All ages are welcome, however we would require a parent/guardian to take part with any children under the age of 14 as there are roads along the route.

Can I bring my dog along?

Absolutely! We hope to see your furry friends...maybe even in a Christmas Outfit too!

How far is the walk/run?

There is a 2km option or a 5km option, you can choose to walk or run either route.
