Christmas Special – Life Drawing Session at Pigment Space

This Christmas edition is all about cosy, atmospheric winter poses: fairy lights, seasonal props and a touch of sparkle. We’ll explore a mix of relaxed, Christmas inspired poses that feel like stills from a winter film: intimate, expressive and full of character.

Expect a balance of short gesture drawings and longer studies, giving you time both to loosen up and to dive deeper into detail, tone and atmosphere. The focus stays on the human figure, but with a distinctly festive mood: think soft edges, glows, textures and patterns.

For this session, as usual we will have a tutor in the room offering light tutoring. If you’d like some support, you can ask for quick feedback, tips or simple exercises to try. If you’d rather work independently, that’s absolutely fine too: the guidance is there only if and when you want it.

Whether you’re here to practise anatomy, explore light and shadow or simply enjoy a calm, creative break from the holiday rush, this session is for you.
