4 Charles Street was home to the writer of one of the most popular, well-known Christmas carols of all time; Hark! The herald angels sing. It’s 1769 and Charles Wesley and his family are getting ready for Christmas. Come on a festive tour of his home. Enjoy carols, beautiful floral displays and find out how Christmas was celebrated in the 18th century. Finish with a mince pie and a sing-along in the family music room.
Places are limited, book early to avoid disappointment. The tour starts outside 4 Charles Street, Bristol BS1 3NN on the following dates:
