Christmas Worship 2025 recording at St Giles’

This year’s Christmas Worship offering for BBC Television is being recorded here in the High Kirk of Edinburgh. It is a tremendous opportunity to showcase what we offer to the whole United Kingdom, and it is also the climatic end to a series on the topic of Prayer and Reflection in the UK today.

We need your help to make this opportunity a great success! Recording will take place in St Giles’ on Tuesday 23rd September at 4pm. Doors open at 3.15pm. The Minister will conduct worship and the Cathedral Choir will, of course, be in good voice.

Please sign up on Eventbrite so that we have an idea of how numbers are going, and please take the opportunity to invite friends and family to the occasion. We will be asking for worshippers form across Edinburgh and the Lothians to join us, so it is an opportunity to introduce friends and family who worship elsewhere, or don’t currently attend worship to come along for a 30 minute recording.
