Get into the holiday spirit and create your own beautiful wreath to decorate your home. This in-person workshop will be held at Longdown Road, Guildford, Surrey GU4 8PP, near Pewley Down.
We will provide a willow base and fresh foliage for you to weave into your design. You are welcome to bring your own decorations and any extra foliage you would like to use. If you have a pair of secateurs, please bring them along as they will be useful. During the workshop, tea or coffee and a sweet treat will be served.
The session will be led by Clare and Helen, who are volunteers at the garden. All profits from this workshop will go directly to supporting Rosamund Community Garden.
If the weather is fair, the workshop will take place outdoors with a fire pit to keep us warm. In the event of rain, we will move into the hub.
The cost of the workshop is £30 plus the non-refundable Eventbrite fee. There are only 12 spaces available.
Children are welcome to join the workshop as long as they are accompanied by an adult. In the past, children have really enjoyed making their own wreaths. If you wish to bring children, please refer to our FAQ section below for pricing and safeguarding information.
To find us, you can park along Longdown Road and walk down the footpath at the first left-hand bend, where the garden is set back on the right. Another option is to walk across Pewley Down, continue along the ridge through the shaded tunnel of Burgess Way, and enter through the last farm gate on your left before Longdown Road.
If you need to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can offer your place to someone on the waiting list. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the event will be refunded, minus the Eventbrite fee. Unfortunately, no refunds can be offered within 24 hours of the start time.
