Overview

Join us for a Christmas wreath making workshop at Attenborough Nature Centre.

Create a stunning festive wreath using sustainably sourced willow and decorate with locally sourced natural foliage. In this 2.5hr workshop, our experienced facilitator will guide you through the weaving technique to create a willow base you can re-use for years to come.

You’ll learn how to choose, arrange and attach foliage and decorations to your base in order to achieve your desired look, from minimalist to bursting with festive joy. We provide all the willow, foliage and tools (such as secateurs and gloves) needed to create your wreath, as well a variety of decorative accessories. Our facilitator will be on hand throughout to answer queries, provide support or inspiration. You are welcome to bring along any of your own tools or materials if you wish.

The workshop takes place in our community room, a private space to the rear of the centre with beautiful views over the water. You will be served a hot seasonal beverage of your choice along with festive sweet treats such as mince pies and cake.
