About this event

This year we will be based in the magnificient Llantysilio Hall for our Christmas Wreath workshop.

In this three hour workshop Deb from Iris & Thyme will show you all the techniques to make your own Christmas wreath using foliage & Christmas embellishments. We have access to collecting foliage around the grounds of Llantysilio Hall, it will be a great opportunity to gather what is in our local countryside and get creative! We will return to the Hall for Christmas drinks & treats before designing & creating our beautiful Christmas wreaths!

There are six spaces available in each workshop. Tickets include all materials and Christmas drinks & treats ~ Iris & Thyme will also provide some extras like dried fruits, eucalyptus, cinnamon sticks, hessian & velvet ribbons but please feel free to bring your own accessories for your wreath!

What do I need to bring?

Maybe best to wear sensible walking shoes ( based on the weather in December) as well as a waterproof coat! Also an apron & a pair of secateurs & a basket / bag to place your foraged foliage!

Where is Llantysilio Hall?

Llantysilio Hall is 7 minutes outside of Llangollen town centre by car. The Hall is situated between Llantysilio Church near to The Horseshoe Falls and the hamlet of Rhewl.

How old is the Hall?

The estate was purchased by the Victorian locomotive designer and builder Charles Beyer in 1867. He was co-founder of Beyer, Peacock & Company, one of the world's leading locomotive manufacturers.Beyer, a bachelor, built the 25-bedroom mansion house.
