Event description

Description

Join a workshop for carers of people with dementia to create colourful magic lanterns whilst learning about how colour can be used to help relax people and calm nerves. Participants will also have the opportunity to see the artwork Chromotrope which inspired this workshop. No previous experience is necessary and all materials will be provided.

Further information about Chromotrope is available here: www.londonbrainproject.com/beyond-memories/

This event is part of the Arts in Mind Festival at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, King’s College London, 4-10 June.

Please be aware that booking a ticket for a free event does not guarantee your place. Admission is on a first come, first served basis for ticket-holders. As the event is free, we have to overbook to allow for no-shows and to avoid having any empty seats which could otherwise be enjoyed by those who would like to attend.

*Please note that photographs and footage may be taken throughout this event and could be used for marketing and publicity including our website, social media or any third party publication. If you have any concerns or wish to be exempted from this activity, please speak with the event organiser on the day.*
