The role of the Responsible Individual (RI) is a statutory responsibility and a key leadership position. The Regulated Services (Service Provider and Responsible Individuals) (Wales) Regulations 2017 outline specific duties for the RI. This training course, designed specifically for Wales, offers an opportunity for both experienced and newly appointed RIs, as well as their managers, to come together, share knowledge, and explore best practices associated with this important role.

The training will provide a thorough examination of the legislation and guidance surrounding the Responsible Individual's role in Wales. It will highlight the significance of this position in ensuring effective governance arrangements are in place and that quality standards are achieved and maintained.

As an essential leadership role within regulated services, we will discuss how you, as the RI, can ensure your service complies with service standards and regulations while maintaining a focus on achieving excellent wellbeing outcomes. Additionally, we will explore best practices and equip you with the skills and tools necessary to maximise the effectiveness of your RI visits.
