CHSE - Technology Enhanced Learning Showcase session

Technology Enhanced Learning Showcase session for all staff in the Faculty of Health Sciences.
This event will promote and showcase examples of innovative use of technology to support learning and teaching. The morning session will comprise show and tell from practitioners across Health Sciences, and the afternoon will comprise a choice of two workshops, see below. There will also be sessions to learn about and discuss opportunities that will be afforded by new tools and technologies being adopted by the university over the summer (for e.g. office365, new opportunites with mediasite). More details re the individual sessions will be added to eventbrite once confirmed.
Afternoon workshop choice: a) "Getting to grips with social media to become a more social practitioner" (Joe Nicholls) or b) "Using turningpoint to promote clinical reasoning in large group case-based learning" (Nick Crabb).
Organised into morning or afternoon session so you can come to:
- Show & Tell presenations (a.m. session) plus lunch 10.00 - 13.00.
- Workshop (p.m. session) 14.00 - 16.00 preceded by lunch 13.00 - 14.00.
- All day ticket for both Show & Tell presenations, lunch and Workshop 10.00 - 16.00.
