Do you love nature? Would you like to learn more about the plants and animals in our parishes? Are you a member of the Devon Wildlife Trust? Do you sometimes need a refuge away from modern life? Would you like to do something positive to help our local wildlife?

If you answered yes to any of these questions then the Chulmleigh Friends of Devon Wildlife could be for you. We are a new group with the aim of becoming a Devon Wildlife Trust Local Group. Join us for a Zoom meeting on Tuesday 9th March at 7:30pm to find out more.

The Devon Wildlife Trust has well established Local Groups in Barnstaple and Dolton that do great work at their Uppacott Wood and Halsdon nature reserves. Some of us on the Sustainable Chulmleigh facebook group are hoping that we could start a DWT Local Group and would like input from as many people as possible. Plans to expand the number of DWT Local Groups have been delayed by the pandemic, but we have taken the first steps towards our goal.
