Event description

Description

If you’re working in journalism, communications, content production or PR and you’re interested in religion and ethics, our annual Church and Media Conference this Autumn is for you.

We’re gearing up to host our 2018 conference at St Mary’s Bryanston Square, looking at themes of change and minority voices – we’re busy planning a packed and fascinating schedule for the day to include topical debates, fascinating keynotes and practical, professional breakout sessions.

2018 Conference Agenda

You can expect some fascinating discussions and breakout sessions such as:

  • An interview with broadcaster and author June Sarpong MBE on diversity in the media industry
  • God on TV: Faith in the Mainstream and the Future of Religious Programming
  • Futureproof: What 2019 will bring for new technology and connecting communities (Sponsored by the Church of England)
  • The Inside Joke on Pitching – What standup can teach us about success and confidence in the media workplace
  • Women in Media: What has changed for women in media this year, and what still needs to?
  • Can we learn to disagree well?
  • The How To and Why of Podcasting
  • Ministry of Comms workshop
