Church and School engagement conference

We are encouraging headteachers to bring their incumbent, so that we can think deeply together about how we can collaborate to be the best church (or community) school we can be. We have many brilliant church and community schools where children and staff feel loved, cherished and nurtured. SIAMS reports continue to demonstrate strengths in the areas of vision, spirituality, collective worship and the RE curriculum, and of course we have a strong and developing relationship with ODBE. But we want to work more effectively together to share what we are doing so that our children and staff and communities continue to thrive. This means that our children and staff will continue to aspire to live life in all its fullness.

Along with time to share together and meet, there will be sessions on:

Leading collective worship
Develop courageous advocacy in our schools
Building a toolkit to develop spirituality
Different ways in which incumbents can support their school

When? Thursday Sept 11th,12.00 - 3.30pm
