International speaker and author, Pete Greig, and Hope Together Chief Executive and former National Mission and Evangelism Adviser for the Church of England, Rachel Jordan-Wolf, will be the keynote speakers at our 2025 Church Growth Conference.
These are exciting times in the UK and we will explore the opportunities for church growth created by the 'Quiet Revival.'
The conference is our largest annual gathering and provides a valuable opportunity for the clergy, PCC, staff and other ministry leaders from each parish to come as a team, together with any members of your congregation who would like to join us. This year, we will be meeting at a new and more central location, Welcome Church, Woking.
Pete Greig will lead the full morning, speaking initially on Jesus is the vision - a quiet response to the Quiet Revival, and then focus on how to lead churches deeper in prayer, across traditions, and the role of sustained corporate prayer in energising church growth. He will also respond to your questions.
‘The time is now’ will be Rachel Jordan-Wolf’s theme as she leads the afternoon session, using research to demonstrate how open people now are to hearing about Jesus, helping us to select and use those evangelistic strategies, tactics and resources which are proving to be most effective in the current context and helping to inspire and equip all in our congregations to share their faith.
The attendance fee of £12 per person includes lunch.
We can also help you to invite your congregation by supplying leaflets, slides, images and newsleter articles. Please email david.senior@cofeguildford.org.uk if this would be helpful.
