We hugely value the work you do to support your incumbent in the day-to-day management of parish life. We want to support you as best we can, by providing the training and resources to support you in our shared endeavor to follow Jesus, serve others and transform communities.
That’s why the diocesan support teams are holding an event this year in Swindon to enable collaboration and connection with other parish officers across the Diocese.
This event will take place on: Saturday 27th September: Pattern Church, Swindon, SN5 7JL 10.00am – 4.00pm
This is a chance for us all to come together for learning and collaboration and to explore ways of serving our congregations and the wider community.
There will be worship, food for thought, free food and refreshments, as well as opportunities for creative thinking, contacts and resources to take back to your parish.

- Become fundraising ready! How to help your church become fundraising ready, hosted by National Churches Trust
- Open your Church to welcome people in – An insurer’s perspective, hosted by Ecclesiastical Insurance
- Avoiding the pitfalls of parish staff employment relationships- hosted by Geralyn Meehan, Director of People and Safeguarding
- Clips from parish officers on a range of topics including Integenerational Worship
- Time to connect and catch up with other parish officers and to explore what’s on offer in the Marketplace.
- Meet exhibitors from Christian Aid, Benefact Trust, Easy Fundrasing and Kids Matter.
Connect with diocesan staff offering support for volunteers, prayers spaces in schools and much more!
