Churchill Academy & Sixth Form Open Evening 2025

We warmly invite you and your child to discover Churchill Academy & Sixth Form at our upcoming Open Evening on Wednesday 24th September 2025, from 5pm to 8pm.

At Churchill Academy & Sixth Form, we're dedicated to providing an educational experience rooted in our core values of kindness, curiosity and determination.

The transition from primary to secondary school is an exciting time for Year 6 students. We foster a supportive and engaging environment that supports your child as they move from primary to secondary education.

We design our Open Evening and Open Morning events to provide you and your child with a comprehensive insight into life at Churchill, helping you envision their future with us.

You'll be able to:

Tour our facilities: Led by our students, these tours offer a glimpse into what it's like to be a Churchill student.

Hear from the Headteacher: Gain insights into our vision and values during a presentation, which will be held at 5:15 pm and repeated at 6:15 pm.

Meet our staff: Speak directly with teachers and support staff to discuss subjects and the transition to secondary school and ask any questions you may have.

Booking your free ticket:

To ensure the best experience for everyone, we've set specific arrival times. Please book the slot that best suits your arrival.

You only need to book one ticket per family. Don't worry if you arrive outside your allocated time; our staff will still welcome you upon arrival. The event is free to attend.

We highly recommend booking an arrival slot that aligns with the Headteacher's welcome talk. This will give you ample time to explore the Academy and speak with staff and students after the talk, ensuring you don't miss out on any valuable information.

Please have your event booking QR code to hand when you arrive, as we will scan it upon your arrival at reception.

Parking: On-site parking is available but may be limited. We'll do our best to accommodate all vehicles, but some on-street parking may be necessary.

Would you like to see the Academy during the day? Join Our Open Mornings!

We'd be happy to welcome you to the Academy for our Open Morning events. These offer another opportunity to observe the Academy in action during the school day.

We will hold the Open Mornings on:

• Tuesday 30th September 2025
• Wednesday 1st October 2025
• From 9:00am until 12:00pm
