We are delighted to announce that CIArb's third and final international conference this year will be taking place in Paris on 7 - 8 December.

Join us this winter at the Marriot Champs Elysees to discuss The Synergy and Divergence between Civil Law and Common Law in International Arbitration from both a European and American angle.

The first flagship international conference in this series was held in Dubai in March and looked at the Middle Eastern and Asian point of view. Over fifty speakers and one hundred and nineteen delegates from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds participated in the event. The second conference in the series was held in Johannesburg on 19-20 July 2017, and covered issues relating to the African continent.

What's the refund policy?

Bookings for this event are final and non-refundable once payment is confirmed. No refunds will be offered thereafter. Places are transferrable – substitutions should be made in writing (please provide the replacement’s full name and email address to events@ciarb.org).

The organisers may at any time, with or without giving notice, in their absolute discretion and without giving any reason, cancel or postpone the conference, change its venue or any of the other published particulars, or withdraw any invitation to attend. In any case, neither the organisers nor any of their officers, employees, agents, members or representatives shall be liable for any loss, liability, damage or expense suffered or incurred by any person, nor will they return any money paid to them in connection with the conference unless they are satisfied not only that the money in question remains under their control but also that the person who paid it has been unfairly prejudiced (as to which, decision shall be in their sole and unfettered discretion and, when announced, final and conclusive).
