In this talk, we will consider different approaches to brick facades. We will focus on façade construction methods as follows: traditional masonry, lightweight brick slips and precast concrete panels with brick slip finish. We will discuss the most suitable cases for the application of each façade construction type depending on the project objectives that may concern traditional outlook, length of construction, procurement, fabrication, buildability and performance.
