CIBSE YEPG Carbon Bite Night Bristol: TM54 Modelling in Practice
Mon 10 April 2017, 18:30 – 19:45 BST
The only CIBSE YEPG Carbon Bite night outside of London, the YEPG are pleased to co-host an evening with YEN SW focusing on the use of TM54 modelling in the construction industry.
CIBSE’s ‘TM54: Evaluating operational energy performance of buildings at the design stage’ is becoming a key modelling tool in the industry to create more accurate predictions of energy consumption throughout the RIBA stages. With clients becoming increasingly keen to understand the energy consumption and carbon emissions that a building is likely to emit during its operation, TM54 provides an approach to modelling that allows designers and engineers to more accurately model human behaviour and unregulated loads.
Join us for an evening of presentations, including a background to the memorandum by one of its principle authors, Dr Anna Menezes. Engage in a discussion around different approaches to modelling and see case studies through the design stage where TM54 modelling has been used.

Kevin Couling, AECOM

Refreshments will be served from 18:00, with presentations starting at 18:30. The evening will come to a close around 19:45.
We look forward to seeing you there,
CIBSE YEN SW and YEPG
