CICM East of England Branch is delighted to be holding this free to attend Conference generously hosted by CICM's Premier Partners Hays Credit Management at their offices in Cheapside in the City of London. The day will focus what we as credit professionals, and employers, can do to mitigate against various aspects of Fraud, Risk and Cybercrime. We have several industry leading specialists speaking, and the event will provide a great opportunity to network with others in the credit industry.

As an ongoing commitment to our CICM Branch members, other CICM Branch members, and guests, and to the credit management profession, we are able to offer the conference completely free of charge, including refreshments and lunch, by obtaining support and sponsorship from leading companies. But what is a dawn raid, who can raid your organisation, and what type of information can the 'raider' access?

10.15 – 10.40 David Clark, Smart Currency Business - Risk Management and How to Protect your Bottom line: This presentation will discuss risk management and the various options available to credit managers to help them protect their corporations’ bottom line. It will detail a modelling process which delegates can adopt for immediate use in their own organisations.

11.35 – 12.00 Martin Warwick, FICO - Fraud and Cyber Analytics: Looking at making better use of machine learning in the fight to combat the fraud challenges that cybercrime is creating in the Card Payment Industry.

13.25 – 13.55 Tara Owens,The Metropolitan Police - Social Engineering, Payment Fraud and Ransomware: The dangers of LinkedIn and Facebook, giving too much information on websites, importing malware, the movement of money.
