This course is a 3 day course running on two seperate occassions - you will be required to attend all three days:
Date 1: Monday 5th September 9:15 - 17:00, Tuesday 6th September 9:15 - 17:00, and Wednesday 7th September 9:15 - 17:00.
Date 2: Monday 12th December 9:15 - 17:00, Tuesday 13th December 9:15 - 17:00, and Wednesday 14th December 9:15 - 17:00.
The CIEH Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work is a two-unit, three-day course that will enable successful candidates to act as a first aider in their workplace.
• Unit 1: Emergency First Aid in the Workplace
• Unit 2: Recognition and Management of Illness and Injury in the Workplace
The training programme for Unit 1 covers thefollowing topics:
•Roles and responsibilities of a first aider
•Assessing an incident
•Unconscious casualties (Recovery)
•Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
•Bleeding & Shock
Unit 2 covers the following topics:

If you are a First Aider is a high risk work place, this course is designed for you.
Activities, test paper, practical assessment
Requalification is mandatory every three years.

The HSE strongly recommends that all First Aiders undertake an annual refresher course.
