Description
The CIJ Summer Conference is UK’s only investigative journalism training event with an emphasis on teaching investigative skills. We offer a mixture of talks, demos and hands-on classes which are designed to equip journalists and anyone interested in investigations with the up-to-date investigative methods and tools.

The CIJ is a registered charity number 1118602. We do not make profit on our events. All money raised is spent on organising #CIJSummer Conference.
We run a bursary scheme for people from the BAME background. You can contribute to this scheme or to the general #CIJSummer bursary fund, which will benefit delegates from underpriviledged backgrounds and enable them to attend #CIJSummer 2018.
FAQs
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Full time students must bring their student ID. The event is not recommended to children younger than 15 years of age on the date of the event.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Limited disabled parking available. Please contact the organisers on marina@tcij.org
Limited pay and display parking around university campus.
Closest Overground stations: New Cross Gate (step free) and New Cross.

What can I bring into the event?
It is advisable that you bring a laptop to the event to benefit from the hands on training. All technical reuiremetns will be published on the CIJ website: www.tcij.org/summer-conference

What's the refund policy?
Full refund 30 calendar days before the start of the conference munus £35 administrative fee on all cancellations made in writing to marina@tcij.org. No refunds after 28 May 2018.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Please do bring your printed ticket.
Can I update my registration information?

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Yes, but transfers must be like for like or difference paid.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
