Speaker: Peter Smith, Sponsorship Director, Lower Thames Crossing Project

Peter Smith, Sponsorship Director for the Lower Thames Crossing project will provide an update on this important scheme, looking at progress and timescales following its application for Development Consent being granted by the Secretary of State for Transport in March. The presentation will also go over the key benefits the new road will provide for Kent, Essex and the wider region, its potential private funding models as well as its ambitious skills and net zero ambitions.
