Regional Transport Partnerships were created in Scotland almost twenty years ago to develop and deliver a long-term regional transport strategy and take forward strategic transport improvements. Nestrans seeks to support and improve the economy, environment and quality of life across Aberdeen City and Shire, a part of Scotland that has seen much oil-related growth but must now face the challenges of Net Zero policies. Paul Finch tells us what has been achieved and where the future may develop provision of passenger and freight transport across the region’s diverse mix of urban and rural communities.
This Event had 1 CPD hours against:
- TP1.1 Transport Infrastructure and Network Resilience
- PAS2.3 Access, Inclusion and Sustainability through Transport
- FM1.2 Urban Freight Transport Operations
- SUS1.1 Social, Economic and Environmental Resilience
