About this event

Sue Webber MSP is a Conservative politician educated at Currie Community High School who has been a Member of the Scottish Parliament for the Lothian Region since May 2021. Previously her party’s spokesman on transport at Edinburgh City Council, she now occupies that role at Holyrood where she has declared that impossible net-zero targets are making life harder for motorists.

Sue has urged action against utilities that put up roadworks sites then don’t do any work, and has also drawn attention to the funding absurdity that trains are now timed to call at Winchburgh but the Scottish Government has not yet delivered a station for them to do so. We are delighted that she is able to give a presentation at the Annual CILT Scottish Region Political Event.

This Event has been alloated 1 CPD hour:

  • TP1.1 Transport Infrastructure and Network Resilience
  • TP2.1 Policy Planning for Transport
