About this event
Behind every delivery or warehouse shift are people who may face situations that no training can fully prepare them for. From fatal road collisions to serious workplace accidents, traumatic incidents are a reality in transport and logistics - and the impact reaches far beyond those directly involved.
This essential CILT(UK) conference brings together industry leaders, frontline voices, academics and charities to explore how our sector prepares for, responds to, and recovers from major incidents. Sessions will examine the ripple effect on colleagues, families and organisations, and share practical ways to manage the immediate aftermath, support recovery and build resilience.
Through lived experience, police and charity perspectives, interactive exercises and new industry guidance, delegates will leave with insight, direction and tools to strengthen incident preparedness and provide meaningful support when the unthinkable happens.
Whether you manage operations, employ staff or provide services to the industry, this event will challenge, inform and equip you to play a part in building a safer, more supportive profession.
3.5 CPD hours against:
- FM1.1 Freight Transport Operations and Services
- EQ2.1 Risk Identification, Reduction and Safety Management
- LE1.1 Leadership, Development, Organisational Culture and Change Management
