The Assistant follows one day in the life of Jane (Julia Garner, Ozark and Inventing Anna), a recent college graduate and aspiring film producer, who has recently landed her dream job. Her day is much like any other assistant’s – making coffee, changing the paper in the copy machine, ordering lunch, arranging travel, taking phone messages... But Jane grows increasingly aware of the abuse that insidiously colours every aspect of her work day. Inspired by the real life stories shared during #MeToo, The Assistant stars Matthew Macfadyen (Succession) and is written and directed by Kitty Green.
"A performance of few words but immense physical eloquence by Julia Garner" - ★★★★ The Guardian
Food and drink not included in ticket price.
