The Boot Camp programme is aimed at new entrants aged 16+ and will include masterclasses, seminars and Q&As with film professionals who will provide insight into the industry in a range of disciplines such as:

• Production Management
• Assistant Directing
• Editing
• Camera
• Sound
• Art Department & Costume
• Directing
• Location Management

Boot Camp Speakers include:

Oscar nominated Director, Vincent Lambe (Detainment)

Cinematographer, Michael Lavelle (Float Like A Butterfly, Cardboard Gangsters and Patrick's Day)

Editor, Brian Philip Davis (The Devils Doorway, Zoo, Bad Day for the Cut and The Cured)

Producer, Production Manager and Assistant Director, Liam Ryan (Dublin Old School, Don’t Leave Home and Arracht)

Location Manager, Paddy Mc Carney (Penance, Hostage to the Devil, In America and Bloody Sunday)

Costume Designer, Louise Stanton (Rosie, Michael Inside and Song of Granite)

Props Master, Noel Walsh (My Mother and Other Strangers, Love/Hate, Jimmy’s Hall and Braveheart)

This is a great opportunity for new entrants to learn more about the film and television industry, gain insight from industry professionals, network with other new entrants and develop knowledge and key skills. There will be a special preview screening of METAL HEART + Q&A with Jordanne Jones at 5pm after the Boot Camp and participants will have FREE passes to this event!
