Event description

Description

A retrospective of one of Scotland's great film-makers. Returning to Scotland after a spell at the Centro Sperimentale di Photographia in Rome, Margaret Tait established her iconic Ancona films in the 1950s. In the '60s she moved to Orkney, where she made a series of 'film-poems' inspired by Orkney's landscape and culture.

After the screening, take some time to explore our collections in the National Library's award-winning Kelvin Hall venue.

Screenings at 1130 and 1500
