Creating a Flexible Workforce

We are pleased to welcome Michelle Kemp & Raynor Jones from Kemp Jones Solicitors to deliver this session which focuses on creating a flexible workforce, providing you with a clearer idea of the different types of contracts that can be offered and how they can be implemented to suit both parties.  It will provide you with the knowledge of the legal implications when things go wrong and how to resolve these issues.

• Different types of contracts employers offer to workers to meet the employer’s needs e.g. zero hours, casual contracts.

• Different type of flexible working patterns requested by employees to meet their needs, e.g. working from home, reduced hours.

• Pros and cons in relation to each type of contract and flexible working pattern, and why flexibility doesn’t  necessarily have to be bad news for one or other of the parties.

• Legal issues which can arise when things go wrong.

• Simple ways of changing terms and conditions.

• Practical tips for agreeing the flexibility that either party might want, while ensuring that performance doesn’t suffer and both parties are happy.

What is the refund policy for paid tickets?

We operate a 7-day cut-off date for ticket cancellations leading to a refund.
