Promoting and supporting employee well-being is at the heart of CIPD’s purpose to champion better work and working lives because an effective workplace well-being programme can deliver mutual benefit to people, businesses, economies and wider society.

At the second CIPD Northern Ireland Well-being Conference, you will hear practical case studies on how HR can take the lead in improving employee well-being through exploring topics such as Financial well-being, Workplace design, stress, resilience and mental health. The conference incorporates a practical well-being strategy design workshop to ensure you leave the day with tangible tools to bring back into your organisation

The Conference will equip you with the knowledge and insight to become a well-being Champion for your organisation and ensure well-being is an organisational priority.

9:40 - 10:20 | Achieving Financial Well-being across your organisation
While highlighting the research findings from our Financial Well-being report, from its importance to practical steps, we’ll have a contextual view on how organisations have achieved financial well-being and provide you with step-by-step guidance on things you could do starting tomorrow in your organisation.

10:20 - 11:10 | The Well-being at Work Agenda – Enhancing Mental Capital

In this session, we will consider how stress and workplace conflict affect mental health and organisational cultures. The session will explore:

  • measuring the costs of lack of mental well-being to individuals and organisations
  • understanding the changing nature of work – the legacy of the recession
  • tackling the sources of workplace stress, pre and post Brexit
  • setting up a strategy to enhance workplace well-being.

CIPD NI Health and Well-being Award Winners, Lagan Construction present on what makes a successful health & well-being programme and how organisations can assess the difference that it makes.

This session will feature a practical case study of how an organisation can:

  • Ensure their health & well-being strategy is leadership led and fully aligned to organisational objectives
  • Create a programme that involves and engages employees, raises awareness and grows line manager confidence & capability
  • Measure programme benefits and ensure that a positive difference is being made within the workplace

The strategy masterclass session will provide delegates with an interactive insight into the key principles of creating a business focused and effective well-being strategy. Where can I park?

There is parking available next door to the venue, the venue is also located close to Central Railway Station.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes, you should bring a printed or electronic copy of your ticket to the event for ease of registration.

Can I transfer my ticket to a colleague?

Yes, this must be done at least 72 hours pre-event. For instructions on how to do this please click here.

Cancellations and Refunds Policy

If you are unable to attend this conference please give us at least 1-week notice and we will be happy to refund 100% of your booking fee or book you onto a subsequent event to the same value. Cancellations received after this time will be non-transferable and non-refundable.

I have dietary requirements, how do I notify you?

Please notify us of any dietary requirements no later than 72 hours pre-event. To do this please email us with your requirements.
