Dear student members in the North of Scotland & Islands Branch area
You are warmly invited to attend this follow-up event, to share learning from the national student conference and also to engage in some valuable local networking. A detailed programme will be circulated in advance, but it is envisaged that the main themes for our follow-up event will include:
• Inclusion and diversity and how we, as HR professionals, can help to embed them in our own organisations.
• The evolving role of the HR professional.
• Effective approaches to undertaking a job search.
In order to get the most out of our local event, please try to participate in the national student conference online, on 2nd April 2022. However, please come along even if you can’t attend the national event – there’ll be something in it for you.
Event details:
• This will be a Zoom online event; and an Eventbrite e-mail link will be sent 24 hours in advance.
• Date: 11th May 2022
• Time: 18.00 – 20.30
• Host: Mike Ellis, CIPD member and lecturer in HRM at Robert Gordon University
• Eligibility: any student members either living or studying in the North of Scotland & Islands Branch area who are studying for a CIPD qualification, regardless of the level of qualification being studied or how this is being undertaken. You’re all very welcome!
